Review: Sorcerer's Dynasty by Stephen Perkins

One man is willing to sacrifice the entire world to get it. Beyond the arctic wall of ice lies a new and unknown world. The CEO of the world's most powerful corporation, Theodore Van Buren, plans to sacrifice the known world, and everything in it to gain immortality in paradise. The world may be filled with lies and liars but America's most controversial alternative media journalism Dan Sheraton will do anything to find out why. Strange things have been seen out in the deserts of New Mexico, and when an even stranger phone calls leads him on a dangerous adventure to a mysterious destination. Sheraton discovers global shattering epiphanies. When a shadowy global corporation threatens the survival of mankind and the world the most unlikely hero emerges. But is the savior and man, machine god or devil?

This not stops thriller grabs you from page one. Mr. Perkins grabs you with this science fiction tale that could be occurring today. The writing at times is in a way that makes you feel like you are reading a bibliography of modern times. The characters are so well written with flaws and triumphs that you feel that you can relate them to modern day characters. I enjoyed the fact that he took the controversial role of a reporter and turned it on its head by allowing the protagonist to be reporting and search for facts and seeing through the fiction of what is being said. I found it exciting work of fiction that you will read through in no times at only 298 pages it is jam-packed full of adventure. If you enjoy Dan Brown, Steve Berry or Clive Cussler you will not be disappointed by Stephen Perkins, Sorcerer's Dynasty.
