Luciana was born into a poor family of migrant workers. She dreamed of more. She wanted to find love, family, a home and an enduring future. She wanted to dance to the music of life. One terrible morning she thought she had lost it all when a terrible monster invades her home. Luciana embarks on a road to recovery and perseverance leads to triumphs and failures and you must fight the means of the past to turn dreams into a reality.
Mario Kiefer introduces us to Luciana and regardless of her humble beginnings dreams of more to her fights with mythical demons that torment her dreams show her that her choices and the choices of others truly effect all those of who surround you. This incredible story leads us on an epic tale of life, death, beginnings, and endings. Mr. Kiefer brings the life of immigrant workers and their stories to all and I was impressed how he had a mix of Spanish and English language in the dialog between characters to show that they truly are whom he is depicting them to be. I enjoyed his tale and look forward to his future stories. I did find the story and easy read but felt at times that is overall feel was very singular focused.
