“ It's important for you to slow down your thoughts so that you're able to think more clearly; it's easy to make mistakes when your thoughts are moving too fast. Take some deep breaths and relax.”
In this self-help bibliography, Daisy Thomas tackles dating and the masks that come with counterfeits that we all know. She tackles the ins and outs of dating, relationships and what women deserve from both a biblical and practical perspective. As a married woman, the dating prospective did no help to me but I did find her advice sound in other relationships we all have in our lives beyond dating with, interpersonal, professional and in an organization environment. The biblical information is provided is in an honest and open way that allows you to receive the information both biblically and practically. I like how she speaks of not only avoiding counterfeits but how to deal with them once you are there and how she speaks of her own experiences with these types of men in her own life, not from a “preachy” perspective. I find that this a wonderful resource as a bible study ore just a personal study of how you approach relationships in your own life, whether you are single or married.
