Review: Makers of Destiny by David Crane

Fifty Years have passed since the beginning of the Nuclear War that left the world in a Nuclear Holocaust. New America rose from the ashes of Armageddon and Civil War, and we find Panther Warrior-Healer Tanya Gray serving as a Presidential Adviser to President for Life Gaetani, she also has a new life with a husband and twin daughters. With the death of President Gaetani old enemies of hate and greed try to overtake the country and the people of New America. A New War Approaches can the lines between Panthers and Humans be strengthened or will fear to win out and the gap is widened.
"After this is all over, we will wait for the worst of it out and woe to anyone who gets in our way."

David Crane does it again with this sequel of Die to Live Again. That his protagonist Tanya because more unpeeled and you learn new ways to know her and understand her as a character. The story is not stale or generic rewrite like you find at times with other squeals this is a book onto itself which you could read as a stand-alone but you really should read after the enjoyment of Die to Live Again where you actually get to know Tanya from the beginning.
