Mr. Lorenzo changes the idea of the traditional sales techniques such as cold calling or showing up at a home or office unexceptionably which outdated approach and gimmicks can get the sales relationship off on the wrong foot. With his turnkey approach, he puts the emphasis on relationships before sales which allows both businesses to be profitable, lifelong relationship not a one and done sale. He points out that business relationships are built one minute at a time. He shows how using your natural abilities can be an asset for sales. His easy writing style and the point on scripts and questions allows you to take his guide and apply it to your business today, not in six months. He points out in the forward that he understands that there are tons of information out there but just use one of his techniques and see how it improves your business. As a small business owner, I found his outlook and techniques a fresh glass of water. Of all the business and sales books I have read it was the first I found that would apply to all business, not just Fortune 500 companies. I saw thought his examples stories that I could grow my own small company into a success by focusing on the customer and other business (relationships)not just to make my next sale. I would recommend this book to anyone who works for someone else or even owns there own business it is a wonderful resource.
